Temerloh #2

 

Well, our second week here was for the General Medicine posting.

In HoSHAS, there are 3 wards for medicine. Ward K11, K12 and K14.

I like the specialist here especially Dr. Harre. He’s so kind and very caring.

When we told him that this is our last day here, he went into the room where we place our bags and stuff and wish us all the best.

Did I told you that Mr. Hamsan is also superb? I like the way he explain why we need to see the patient in surgery ward as some cases there have signs and symptoms that arises from the orofacial region.

Anyway, the ward round in medicine is so looong! The first day I followed the ward round in K14 from 9.00 a.m till 2PM 2.30 p.m.

 

I now appreciate the nikmat of sitting!

Well, this is what we do to escape the after the looong standing ward round.

You’ve been to Temerloh only if you have taste the Gulai Tempoyak Ikan Patin Pak Usop!

Well, it’s time to head back to Ampang to continue our journey. Only 1 year left to graduate! Let’s do our best!

Hope that what we learnt in Temerloh will make us a better dentist and appreciate the choice we made.

 

p/s: sorry doctor, I read your email requesting for fresh ikan patin when I’m here in KL already.

Temerloh #1

 

Right now I’m at Temerloh or can be called as “Bandar Ikan Patin”.

Nope, a week here and haven't' tried patin yet. Soon will eat it.

Temerloh is located 3°27'U and 102°26'T geographically.

Why am I here?

It is for the general surgery and general medicine posting at Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (HoSHAS).

Yes, we just finished the general surgery posting.

It is my second time donating blood. The first time was during my PLKN at Selama, Perak.

Today we when went to play along with the elephant at Kuala Gandah. Free entrance and free ride on the the animal!

Next, general medicine!
